A type of pendant in the form of Thor's hammer, the magical weapon of the Norse god Thor, presumably symbolizing physical strength and having large staring eyes, one of Thor's attributes. It was wornas an amulet in Scandinavia during the Viking period. Examples were made in Sweden in the 11th century.
