A type of pendant the main ornament of which is the tooth of an animal, usually set in a metal collar with a suspensory ring. Such pendants usually were worn as aamulet, and have been found mainly among people of ancient or primitive cultures. Examples are known from the 7th century AD, found in Anglo-Saxon graves.
